Too much information?

I have lived these last
two years
as an open book...
On my blog and on Facebook!
I enjoy being open..
its who I am!

My blog is mine.
People comment!
(and I love my bloggy friends!)
BUT, its my thoughts.. my space.
facebook, however, has a mind of its own!

I have been open..
but its been just me!
my drama
my quirks...

Now, as I begin a new stage..
I have someone 'sort of'
in my life...
casual, new, slow..
but a new stage none the less;
I realize that some things
just belong to me!

So while I will blog the emotions
fears and trials
that come with actually
sort of ... in a way..
(did I mention slowly?)
entering back into the dating world..
I shall keep the rest to myself!
and enjoy having time
to sort out
what I feel,
and think..
without being overwhelmed
by the best intentions of others...

So slowly..
I step from the world
of happily alone,
into the world
of choosing
to sometimes spend
time with another.......

The next step in the journey!

  1. Agree that there are things on my blog that I don't post on FB and vise verse. I like it that way ;o)

  2. Every one needs some privacy.. Glad you have someone in your life. Take time to develop this friendship, we all must learn from past mistakes. Bless you

  3. Very cool!!! I surely understand Debbie!! Some things should be private!!

  4. I think I'm way too open. Perhaps I should take your advice?

  5. Oh Debbie that is wonderful! Exciting, scary, brilliant and full of change. Starting slowly is the way to go. Be mindful of YOU, your children and your place in life right now, as you get to know a new person in your life. I am thrilled for you and wish you much light and happiness.

  6. Congrats to you!! I am very private on my blog, despite giving details of my hookups gone bad. I don't blog about people who are actively in my life.

As for Facebook... oy. I'm still trying to figure that one out. My kids love it. I fear it.

  7. I think you are a very wise woman...good luck with a new relationship, you will decide well......:-)Hugs

  8. A belated happy birthday to you!

I keep my FB and blog very separate. On my blog I feel free to speak my mind and be open about my experiences - but I sure don't want to share all that with family and old high school buddies!
